Aspire Wellness is a new non-profit agency with a mission to provide affordable and accessible mental health services for everyone in our community. These services include individual, couples, family and group therapy as well as mental health trainings. Our vision is to provide community health and wellness services of the highest quality, empowering clients to become aware of their own strengths, resources and support for their well-being and mental health wellness.

We are looking to hire State of Nevada Approved Interns

· Clinical Professional Counselors, 

· Marriage and Family Therapy, 

· Social Work or 

· Drug and Alcohol Counselors

Candidates will currently have a primary and secondary supervisor, Aspire Wellness can provide site supervision, and will be willing to work 25 hours per week. We are looking for energetic, like minded professionals to work together toward strong mental health and wellness for each of our clients. 

Essential Functions/Duties:

· Provide Individual, Family, Couples, and group therapy

· Complete Case notes and billing for each client

· Attend required supervision per State of Nevada intern regulations

· Attend and participate in weekly Case Review meetings with the Executive Director

· Complete required weekly agency paperwork 

Education, Experience and Skills Required

· A Master’s Degree in your related field from an accredited college or university in the field of social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a closely related academic field

· Knowledge of: principles and techniques of interviewing and recording casework data

· Individual, group, and family intervention techniques

· Case management practices and procedures; symptoms and treatment of mental illness, emotional and behavioral disorders; agency, state and court policies, procedures and process related to client care

· Computer software specific to agency programs

· Must be at least 21 years old

· Must pass a FBI background Check and obtain a Washoe County Sheriffs Card

· Possess or willing to obtain liability insurance

Our eventual goal is to provide a practicum and internship site to upcoming mental health professionals and provide as many mental health and wellness services under one roof as we can accommodate.
